About C More Sport 2
C More Sport 2 is a Finnish television channel owned and operated by C More Entertainment, also known as the Telia Company. The channel was originally launched as MTV3 Max Sport 2 in 2012, but that name would not last much, as the channel would be rebranded to MTV Sport 2 in 2013. The name would be maintained until 2017, when it became known as C More Sport 2. C More Sport 2 is often referred to as the second most relevant sports channel for the C More brand in Finland.
Over the years, C More Sport 2 has covered a wide variety of disciplines from all regions in the globe. Some of the sports that have been covered on this channel have included football, tennis, ice hockey, basketball, mixed martial arts, motorsports, and more. Both domestic and international competitions have been aired, most of them in Finnish language.
Speaking about football, C More Sport 2 has covered leagues such as La Liga, the Italian Serie A, and the Argentine Primera División, usually covering the second most relevant game taking place at any given time. European club competitions such as the UEFA Europa League and the UEFA Champions League have also been available on this channel. National team football has also been part of the channel’s grid with the network’s coverage of the CONCACAF Gold Cup.
C More Sport 2 saw the light as a Standard Definition channel, but a High-Definition feed was made available when it was known as MTV Sport 2. Since the HD feed airs the same content as the SD option, both channels may still be available in some regions of the country.
