About Eleven Sports Network (Portugal)

Eleven Sports Network is an international sports content platform, which operates a host of linear TV channels and OTT sports platforms in various markets across the world. This includes Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Japan, Myanmar, Poland, Portugal, Taiwan, UK, Ireland and the United States.

The global network was founded in 2015 by Italian businessman Andrea Radrizzani. Since its launch, Eleven Sports has secured major soccer broadcast rights in different regions. Leagues for which the company has successfully negotiated deals in the past include the English Premier League (Taiwan - 2016) and Spanish La Liga (UK and Ireland - 2018). Other competitions worth mentioning include the UEFA Champions League in Portugal and Major League Soccer in Belgium and Luxembourg. Athletics, baseball and volleyball are part of the sports that form the cluster of other disciplines covered by the sports provider.

In 2018, Eleven Sports Network launched Watch Together, an innovative feature allowing viewers to watch live sporting events with friends and family simultaneously in a single online space – much as if they were following the action together in a room. Designed by tech company Reactoo, the interactive Watch Together feature was brought to Eleven Sports subscribers with the aim of boosting engagement.

Eleven Sports provides users with a multiscreen experience, made more immersive with full HD and 4K broadcasts. Content is vastly available on digital devices thanks to its mobile apps. 	UEFA Champions League (2021-2024) Pay-television broadcaster Eleven Sports has retained its UEFA Champions League media rights in Portugal, following a deal that runs from 2021 through 2024. Eleven Sports Portugal will show over 138 Champions League matches in high definition every season, along with match highlights and magazine shows. 	England - Premier League (2022-2025) ELEVEN Portugal has secured exclusive live broadcast rights for the Premier League until 2025 after signing a three year deal. This arrangement begins at the start of the 2022/23 Premier League campaign, and will see ELEVEN cover all 380 games via both its linear and digital channels.
	Spain - La Liga (2021-2024) Eleven Sports has retained Portuguese rights to the Spanish La Liga, following a three-year deal running from 2021 to 2024. Live La Liga matches will be shown on Eleven Sports Portugal’s linear television channels, as well as the network’s over-the-top (OTT) streaming service.
	Germany - Bundesliga (2021-2025) Eleven Sports Portugal has extended their exclusive digital and broadcast rights for the Bundesliga in Portugal, following a four year deal. As per the terms of this arrangement, Eleven Sports will continue to provide TV broadcasts, as well as live-streaming and on-demand access to football matches in Germany’s top flight until the end of the 2024/2025 campaign. 	France - Super Cup (2021-2024) Eleven Portugal has bagged the rights to the French Trophée des Champions, in a three-year deal that will run until 2024. The Trophée des Champions will be aired live on Eleven Portugal’s linear and digital platforms annually.
	France - Ligue 1 (2021-2024) Eleven Portugal has renewed its French Ligue 1 rights for three additional seasons. The network will exclusively air all 380 Ligue 1 matches every season on both its linear and OTT platforms in Portugal, through 2024.
