About Nova Sport 4
Nova Sport 4 is a Czech television channel that is owned and operated by TV Nova. The channel was launched on August 13, 2021 to work as an overflow channel to Nova Sport 1, which has been considered as the most important channel of the bunch. Nova Sport 4 is part of a network that includes four channels: Nova Sport 1, Nova Sport 2, and Nova Sport 3.
Over the years, the network has been able to cover a wide variety of disciplines, which have included domestic competitions and international events and tournaments. Some of the sports covered by Nova Sport 3 and its sister channels have included handball, basketball, tennis, football, mixed martial arts, rugby, darts, motorsports, and more.
Speaking about football, Nova Sport 4 has been used to cover domestic tournaments such as the Bundesliga and its lower-tier category, the 2. Bundesliga. Other leagues that have been covered include the French Ligue 1, the Spanish Primera División, and the Italian Serie A. International tournaments such as the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League have also been featured on Nova Sport 4.
Nova Sport 4 was launched as a High-Definition channel since it saw the light, although there might be a downscaled version of the channel for those who do not have access to HD technology. Both options may be found in certain regions via certain pay-tv carriers across the Czech Republic and Slovakia, where users can get a hold of the channel.
