Paramount+ is an OTT video streaming platform available in Latin America. It operates under Paramount Global and was originally launched as CBS All Access in October 2014. It was rebranded in March 2021 after a merger between CBS Corporation and Viacom. As a service available internationally in different parts of the world, it has had an extensive portfolio of live sporting events. Nevertheless, broadcast rights acquired for its streams may vary depending on location, as coverage deals may only be signed for specific markets. Paramount+ has offered live football events on its platforms in the past, in high definition.
In Latin America, Paramount+ launched in early 2021, increasing the distribution of content from production brands such as CBS Television Studios, Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Showtime, and Telefe.
