About Proximus Pickx
Proximus Sports is a Belgian television channel bundle owned and operated by Proximus, who launched the package on August 13, 2008 as part of the company known as Belgacom.
As mentioned previously, Proximus Sports specializes in broadcasting sports content with a special focus on football. Over the years, the channel has added other sports to its coverage, including basketball, tennis cycling, American football, hockey, and mixed martial arts, to name a few.
Speaking about football, Proximus Sports has aired some of the top football competitions in Europe and the world. Domestic tournaments aired by this channel have included the Jupiler Pro League, the Proximus League (Belgian Second Division), and the Belgian Cup. European tournaments such as the Bundesliga, the EFL Championship, the Italian Serie A, the Spanish Primera División, and the Primeira Liga have also been covered by Proximus Sports. On top of it all, Proximus Sports has covered the UEFA Champions League for quite a few years, with most of the channels’ content being dedicated to this competition.
Proximus Sports began airing content in Standard Definition, but an HD feed is now available for all channels. A downscaled version might also be available for users who do not have access to HD technology.
