The Trofeo de campeones de la Liga Profesional in Argentina is a football tournament created by the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino. It replaced the Trofeo de Campeones de la Superliga Argentina, which was ciscontinued after only one season and due to the disappearance of the Superliga Argentina and the Copa de la Superliga.

This South American competition is played every year by the winners of the Primera División and the Copa de la Liga holders. The one-leg tie is played on neutral ground to avoid any advantages for any of the teams involved, leaving it to both clubs to play 90 minutes to determine the winner. In case the game is still level after regulation, extra time and penalties will be used to award the trophy.

Curiously, the first edition of this tournament was scheduled to be played in 2020, but the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic forced AFA to postpone the competition.
