About Liga 3
The Indonesia Liga 3 is the lowest tier in the Indonesian football league system. It was formed in 2014 following a merger between Liga Indonesia Second Division and Liga Indonesia Third Division. The league was originally known as the Liga Nusantara.
Teams who excel in the league are promoted to Liga 2 at the end of a season.
