About NASL
The North American Soccer League (NASL) was a professional league that ran for seven seasons from 2011 until 2017. It was sanctioned as a Division II league by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), sitting behind the MLS and alongside the USL Championship (formerly known as USL Pro) in the pyramid. Despite staging its last season in 2017, the NASL effectively became defunct in 2018.
