Sunday, October 9th is set to be a very busy day for MLS fans as it's the latest installment of Decision Day. If the name sounds dramatic, well it is. All 28 teams will be in action all over North America, as the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference aim to decide who proceeds to the playoffs, and who will miss out.

When is Decision Day?
Decision Day 2022 kicks off on Sunday, October 9th. A total of 14 matches will be played throughout the day, with starting at 14.30 EST (11.30 PST) and the other seven with a kick off time of 17.00 EST (14.00 PST).

Which teams have qualified for the play-offs?
Philadelphia Union, CF Montréal, NYC FC, New York Red Bulls, Inter Miami, Austin, Dallas, LA Galaxy and Nashville have all secured a spot in the play-offs, along with Los Angeles FC, who are the latest winners of the Supporters Shield.

Unfortunately, Houston Dynamo, San Jose Earthquakes, Charlotte, New England Patriots, Atlanta United, Chicago Fire, Toronto, D.C. United, Colorado, Seattle Sounders, and Kansas City have all been eliminated from the play-offs, meaning that they will have nothing but pride to play for on Sunday.
Which teams still have a shot at securing a spot in the play-offs?
Columbus Crew, Orlando City, FC Cincinnati, Real Salt Lake, Minnesota United, Portland Timbers, and Vancouver Whitecaps still do have a shot at qualifying for the play-offs, making some of the upcoming games that much more decisive.

Meanwhile, Orlando City will need to win this game, and as they are hosting the game, they will need to use that to full advantage to earn their spot.
