The February 2015 FIFA Power Rankings are out and while Germany stays on top; barely anything stayed the same further down the list in comparison to January.
Ivory Coast rallied back into the world’s top 20 after defeating Ghana in the AFCON final. Ghana lost that game but gained 12 spots to get the 25th place. Congo DR moved up 11 spots and is now in 46th place.
UEFA teams, Germany (1), Belgium (4), Netherlands (5) and Portugal (7) did not experience any changes. Meanwhile, trouble continues for Spain. La Furia has fallen nine ten spots after being on top prior to the World Cup. England currently sits in 15th.
In CONCACAF, Costa Rica continues a steady climb and finds itself in 13th. Mexico barely slipped out of the top 20 and the U.S.A. team fell four spots to number 31
Top CONMEBOL teams stayed where they were before. Argentina just behind Germany in 2nd, Colombia in 3rd. and Brazil appears on the 6th spot. Peru and Bolivia slipped six and eight spots respectively.
Australia, out of all teams, moved up the most by jumping 37 spots (63). Despite being the reigning champions of the Asia Cup, they are still
