The Belgian midfielder has been sought out by Manchester United and Manchester City after an unsuccessful stint with Chelsea.

After being called a flop following his short stint with Chelsea, Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne experienced a sort of re-birth and is now one of Europe's most desired players. His 15 goals and 28 assists in 50 games speak for themselves, and the 23-year old refused to shut the door to a possible transfer away from the Wolves, since top clubs like Manchester United and Manchester City have started negotiations with his agent.

One day after stating he would not return to Chelsea until Jose Mourinho leaves the team, De Bruyne revealed that even though he is happy with Wolfsburg, there could be options in his future that could make him reconsider a possible move away from the Bundesliga runner ups.

De Bruyne has been key to Wolfsburg's recent success.

I have always said that I am very happy here, but I am not saying that I am 100 per cent going to stay here. Surely it is possible that something might come up in the next few weeks while I am on holiday. However, no one can predict that at the moment," De Bruyne told a German tabloid.

The player is expected to perform tomorrow during the DFB-Pokal final between Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg, claiming to be set to play in Berlin.

Manchester United and Manchester City are the two clubs which have shown more interest in signing the Belgian International, although the club has been clear about their intentions. Unless there is a whopping bid for the player's services, De Bruyne is expected to live up to his contract with the Wolves, which ends in 2019.
