The Swedish striker referred to the Norwegian youngster after a friendly match played between their National Teams that ended with a 0-0 draw.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic spoke about Norway's youngster Martin Odegaard, who plays for Real Madrid. After a friendly match between their National Teams, PSG's player stated Odegaard has what it takes to become a football icon, but he must take some steps before he can achieve greatness.

"He's got to become a man, he has to grow up and leave his dad's protection. It will be hard to tell whether he can become a great player or not until he gets rid of his dad, who is a control freak and doesn't leave him out of his sight. We won't know until that happens," Zlatan stated.

Ibrahimovic, who has been subject of many rumors concerning his future, also revealed Odegaard's skills will get better now that he plays for Norway's National Team.

"He did OK, he played the ball the way he was supposed to, he did not lose too many balls. He's got a lot of time to improve, and he will only get better by playing with Norway," "Ibra" added.
