The AFP reports that those that caused the attack were after the president of FC Nantes. The home side has apologized for the incident to PSG.

Losing 4-1 to Paris Saint-Germain was not something that the Nantes fans really liked. Some of them took their frustration a bit too far when they attacked the car of the PSG president as it was leaving the Stade de la Beaujoire by throwing rocks at it.

The incident happened on Saturday night, just as PSG had been able to stage a comeback in the second half. At the moment that this story is being typed, the names of the individuals that attacked president Nasser Al-Khelaifi's car have not been made public. 

Incredibly so, the news wire AFP, reported that PSG had not filed a police report despite the damages done to the car. The individuals had thrown rocks to it, thinking that it was Waldemar Kita, who was inside the car at that time. 

Moments after the incident, FC Nantes issued an apology to Paris Saint-Germain in their website. They also assured that the Brigades Loire, a big supporting group of the club, had nothing to do with what happened outside the stadium.

PSG has not made any comments regarding the attack. In their website and their social media platforms, the team has decided to talk about how they made a comeback in the game and secured first place for another week. The team is now leading the Ligue 1 with 20 points after eight games.
