Pierre Emerick Aubameyang is one of the players linked with a possible move to join Los Blaugranas in the upcoming transfer window, although the team doesn't want to part ways with him.

Days after being named as one of the possibilities to join Barcelona's frontline, African striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang came up and discussed his chances of playing for Los Blaugranas. According to the playee from Gabon, playing in La Liga would be like a dream come true for him.

"Everyone knows things in this sport change very quickly, and even if I'm doing fine right here, it has been my childhood dream to play for a Spanish team. So, yes, if there was a chance to join them, I'd certainly look into it," Aubameyang stated.

The player, who has scored ten goals in nine Bundesliga matches for Borussia Dortmund, has a €35 million buyout clause, which could complicate his signing with the current La Liga champions due to their previous dealings currently investigated by the Spanish IRS, including Neymar's transfer back in 2013.

"Aubame's" performance has been brilliant during the ongoing season.

Despite Barcelona's supposed interest, Dortmund's manager seemed to be unimpressed by Los Blaugranas wanting to lure the African player away.

"Nothing has changed. We count on him to be here for a long time. He recently extended his contract with us and their interest doesn't change things one bit," Zorc added.

Aubameyang joined Borussia Dortmund prior to the start of the 2013-2014 season, establishing himself as one of the team's most effective strikers since then. The 26-year old has scored 55 goals and has also handed out 21 assists in 109 games for the yellow-and black. He recently extended his contract with Thomas Tuchel's side until June of 2020.
