After having to settle for a draw against Toronto FC, NYC FC will be hoping to pick up a win against Orlando City when they welcome them to Yankee Stadium on Friday, March 18th. Here are some live TV listings & online streaming options for NYC FC vs. Orlando City.

The 2016 MLS season might have just started, but we are already in matchday three. And after the first two games, things are slowly beginning to take shape in both the Eastern and Western Conferences. Some teams, like Vancouver Impact or San Jose Earthquakes are sitting on top of their respective divisions having picked up six points out of six.

Others, like New York Red Bulls and Seattle Sounders already find themselves in a hole after losing their first two matches. And quite a few - like NYC FC and Orlando City - are not on top, yet are not at the bottom after experiencing mixed fortunes to the start of their respective campaigns.

NYC FC

Under the guidance of new coach Patrick Viera, NYC FC have picked up four points from their first two games. In their season opener, they edged out Chicago Fire in a seven goal thriller, but will be ruing their missed opportunities from their most recent match.

Against Toronto FC, NYC FC raced into an early two goal lead courtesy of a first-half brace from veteran striker David Villa. However, their defensive concerns came back to haunt them as they conceded a goal shortly before the half-time break. And in the second half, Sebastian Giovinco showed that he does not intend to be a one-season wonder by grabbing a second, which salvaged a point for the visitors and denied Viera's men the chance to make it two wins in two games this season.

Next up for the hosts will be Orlando City, a team that they have become quite familiar as of late. And many NYC FC fans will remember the last time these two sides clashed at Yankee Stadium, as they were truly in for a thriller of a game. Eight goals were scored on that day - five for NYC and three for Orlando - but in their most recent meeting, it was Friday's visitors to come out on top by recording a 2-1 victory back in October.

Orlando City

Meanwhile, Orlando City have struggled to get going this season, and the Lions are still seeking their first win of the new campaign. However, they have had to make do without captain Kaka, who is still out due to injury. And given the Brazilian's class despite his advancing years, his absence has stripped them of the creativity they desperately need to link up their defense and attack.

Nonetheless, having picked up two points from two consecutive draws, they are not dead last in the conference, and young attacker Cyle Larin continues to excel after his breakout performances from last season. The 20-year-old Canadian international, who scored an impressive 17 goals in 27 league appearances, so far has been responsible for two out of his team's three goals this term.

In fact, it would not be too far to claim that Larin has been carrying Orlando's offense; the 2015 MLS Rookie of the Year netted the Lions' first as they staged an impressive late comeback against Real Salt Lake and opened proceedings in what would finish as a stalemate versus Chicago Fire last Friday. And Viera's side will certainly want to keep their eye on the powerful attacker. Their cross-town rivals New York Red Bulls fans will naturally be aware of Larin's threat in front of goal, as last season he put their team to the sword with a fantastic hat-trick during Orlando City's 5-2 demolition last September.
