Cameroon are the newly-crowned Champions of Africa. The Central African country beat Egypt 2-1 in the finals on Sunday in Gabon to secure the coveted title. And now, they Indomitale Lions have overtaken Ghana on the AFCON trophy table standings.
Hugo Broos' men are now second on the AFCON titles log with five to their name. Only Egypt have more (7). Ghana occupy the third spot with four titles, while Ivory Coast and DR Congo seal the fifth and sixth spots respectively with two each.
