One of the best midfield duos in history was the one that included Xabi Alonso and Steven Gerrard. The pair led Liverpool to the 2005 UEFA Champions League title among other titles, and their partnership went on even after Alonso left the Reds to join Real Madrid.

With the Spaniard playing his final game of the season this weekend, Bayern TV aired a special show paying tribute to the departing midfielder. Steven Gerrard's tribute was, by far, one of the highlights of that show, as you can clearly see in the upcoming video.
