Hugo Lloris had to spent a few hours in jail after failing to pass an alcohol test on August 24, and he's finally been handed a sanction for his involvement in a drink-driving incident.
The player, who admitted his guilt, was pulled over by a police officer after spending a night out with some friends. After failing to pass the test, he pleaded guilty to all charges today, forcing Judge Amanda Barron to slap him with a $65,000 fine. Furthermore, Lloris won't be able to drive for the next 20 months.
The judge stated that the presence of a passenger in Lloris' vehicle made things worse for the goalkeeper, because he risked his life and his friend's due to his recklessness.
