Comparatively, Ronaldo has been more active on the social media platform than the American pop-singer in recent times. Back on September 23, the latter made known to her followers that she was taking a little break from social media.
Still, Cristiano Ronaldo's uprising on Instagram does not come as much of a surprise. Following his sensational move from Real Madrid to Juventus earlier this summer, it was almost certain that his fan base on the platform was going to multiply. His current club's following on Instagram momentarily stands in the region of 17.6 million.
During the weekend, the five-time Ballond'Or winner impressed for Juventus by scoring a brace to seal a comeback victory over Empoli. The ex-Real Madrid star subsequently marked the win with a photograph of himself and his teammates holding hands after the match. He has since posted an image of himself in a gym.
