The Frenchman got on the scoresheet once again in his side's mid-week encounter with Arsenal.

Anthony Martial provided the spark in Manchester United's night once again after the Red Devils conceded in the 25th minute against Arsenal in Wednesday's Premier League clash. After staging a commanding performance in the opening minutes, a dreadful mistake by David De Gea gifted the Gunners the lead via Shkodran Mustafi.

However, the advantage was canceled shortly with Antony Martial firing the ball home inside Arsenal's 18-yard-box in the 29th minute. The Frenchman was the quickest to react to Ander Herrera's pass across the face of the Gunner's goal post after Bernd Leno had spilled Marcos Rojo's free-kick.

The feat saw Anthony Martial equaling a unique milestone previous held by Manchester United's all-time top goalscorer Wayne Rooney. As December 5 is the ex-Lyon's starlet's birthday, he became the second person in Manchester United's history to score a Premier League goal on his day of birth.

Wayne Rooney achieved the feat in October 2004 and, quite interestingly, against Arsenal.
