The Brazilian ace failed to impress some of Bayern's legendary players during the team's trip to Greece.

Life for Philippe Coutinho in Germany is not all sunshine and rainbows, as he is now facing the same amount of criticism as he did while playing for Barcelona.

The Brazilian footballer has been categorized as a player that only gives half of his talent to the team's needs by former Bayern legend Dietmar Hamman, who urged Coutinho to step things up if he wants to make his move to Germany permanent.

Speaking in his pundit capacity for Sky Sports, Hamann blasted Coutinho for his poor contribution to Bayern's 3-2 win against Olympiakos.

"He seems like a stranger on the pitch. I can't remember any action of the game where he was involved. When you have a players with such talent and he does not make a difference, you are in trouble. He shows half of the talent he's got," Hamann said.

Coutinho, currently on loan, needs to make his presence indispensable for Bayern, since Barcelona has no interest in luring him back after this loan spell comes to an end. His lack of chemistry with some of his team-mates and with Barcelona's supporters hints that he will not pick up where he left off at Camp Nou.

Even after his initial criticism, Hamann still believes that Coutinho can make things work for him with Die Roten.

"He needs time. There are still 30 games left. I'm sure that, at some point, he will adapt to his new surroundings,"Hamann concluded.
