Zinedine Zidane may have to improvise a key spot in his lineup due to this recent injury setback.

Bad news for Zinedine Zidane and Real Madrid fans, as one of the French boss' preferred players will not be around for the next eight weeks.

The Spanish side has started their title defense in flying colors, but this setback could force Zidane to use players he had initially ruled out of his squad.

The player in question is none other than Dani Carvajal, who picked up a knee injury during today's training session. Real Madrid's medical staff revealed that the right back will be out for the next two months, which means that Carvajal will not be around to play El Clásico or any of the team's first four UEFA Champions League matches.

Carvajal will join Eden Hazard and Toni Kroos on the sidelines, as both the Belgian and German internationals picked up injuries during the training sessions held by the team this week.

The footballer posted a picture on social media to calm his fans about the seriousness of his injury.
