Arsenal reveal injury updates on Partey and Tierney ahead of crucial Man Utd clash

The Gunners also announced whether promising playmaker Emile Smith Rowe and club captain Aubameyang will be available for the Red Devils showdown.

Arsenal have released the much-awaited team news ahead of their crucial Premier League clash against Man United, with the Gunners revealing whether the likes of Thomas Partey, Kieran Tierney, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will be available.

The north London giants are set to host the Red Devils in Saturday's highly-anticipated clash, with Arteta's side keen on maintaining their excellent form. With five wins out of their last six fixtures, victory over the Red Devils would see Arsenal move closer to the top six.

However, they have been made to sweat over the fitness of three players: Thomas Partey, Emile Smith Rowe, and Kieran Tierney. The Ghanaian and English midfielders both picked up muscle issues during the 3-1 win over Southampton and limped off the pitch while the highly-rated Scottish left-back has sat out the last two games due to a calf injury.

With the game being right around the corner, the London giants have announced the team news and it is a mixed bag. Both Partey and Smith Rowe have been in training since the midweek victory at St. Mary's Stadium and are thus in the squad. However, Tierney remains a doubt.

The Gunners announced in an official statement that the fullback is "continuing to be assessed" due to a discomfort and that a late decision will be made about his inclusion. If he is unable to feature, it will be a huge blow for the home side.

Fortunately, Cedric Soares, the man who deputized in Tierney's absence at Southampton, impressed and could fill the void. As for recent signing Martin Ødegaard, the Norwegian has made the squad and could make his debut in Saturday's showdown.

Unfortunately, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will play no part in this fixture. The club captain has been away from the team due to a health issue involving his mother and is thus unavailable for the Man United clash.
