Spanish-language channel Universo will broadcast three first-round Concacaf Men’s World Cup Qualifying matches, including one Group A game and a couple of Group D matches games.

The action on Universo begins on Thursday at 7:55 p.m. ET when Panama takes on Barbados at Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo. The game is set to kick off at 8 p.m. ET. Panama is ranked 9th in Concacaf and is the only nation in the first round that qualified for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Meanwhile, Barbados is ranked 19th in the confederation.

Concacaf World Cup Qualifying play on Universo will continue Thursday at 10:25 p.m. ET when El Salvador hosts Grenada at Estadio Cuscatlán. El Salvador enters the competition's first round as the highest-ranked nation as the sixth overall in the confederation's rankings. On the other hand, Grenada is ranked 18th overall in Concacaf. 

This week's coverage of the first round of Concacaf World Cup Qualifying by Universo will conclude with Sunday's meeting between Dominica and Panama. The game will take place at Felix Sanchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo at 4 p.m. ET. Panama will be the favorite coming into the fixture as Dominica is ranked No. 28 in Concacaf.
