The Spaniard completed the comeback for Chelsea after they had gone behind in the first half.

Chelsea have claimed a landmark victory to delay Man City's Premier League coronation in a rehearsal ahead of the Champions League final. The Blues secured the maximum points after Marcos Alonso completed the comeback for them with a late winner.

City were practically 45 minutes away from confirming their status as champions after taking the lead ahead of the first half break. They were put in front by Raheem Sterling after the Englishman had been played in by Sergio Aguero. Less than a minute later, the latter had a big chance to consolidate his side's lead with a second but ended up missing a spot-kick with a failed 'Panenka' attempt.

The second half presented a different challenge for Pep Guardiola with Chelsea coming out to dominate play. The Blues restored parity through Hakim Ziyech in the 63rd minutes and pressed on for a winner. Having had three goals ruled for offside, the 2021 Champions League finalists were rewarded in the 92nd minute, forcing Man City's title celebrations to be postponed.
