The Cottagers have finally been relegated to the Championship after a miserable campaign following their latest defeat.

And then there were three - finally, all three teams who will be playing in the Championship have now been decided.

Fulham have now been relegated from the Premier League following their loss 2-0 loss Burnley on Monday evening. Unfortunately for the Cottagers, they were two goals down within the first 45 minutes as their opponents arrived at Craven Cottage intending to pick up all three points, and Scott Parker's men found themselves on the back foot for the rest of the match.

As a result, Fulham now join Sheffield United and West Brom as the three teams who will be featuring in the Championship next season. Burnley, meanwhile, are now safe in 14th spot and will play top flight football for the sixth straight season.

Fulham's demotion comes exactly one season after they secured promotion to the Premier League following their fourth-placed finish in the Championship. It will be very interesting to see how they fare during the 2021/2022 campaign - will they bounce right back up, or will they remain in the second tier for another couple of campaigns?

Of their 35 games this season, Fulham won just five times. Two were at Craven Cottage, with the last of those victories taking place on February 20th. Arguably, the highlight of the struggling team's season was a shock away win over Liverpool, when they defeated the then-reigning champs 1-0 at Anfield on March 7th, but since then, their only respite was a one-all draw with Arsenal on April 18th.
