The Premier League had no competition whatsoever during the past week, as three of the five games aired earned the top spots in our ranking.

Once again, the battle for the ratings when it comes to football matches in the United States saw the Premier League emerging as the true champion. The games aired both in English and Spanish were no match for other competitions aired in the past week.

The only team that came close to contesting the dominance shown by the English top-flight was the USWNT, who played a couple of matches against Germany between Thursday and Sunday, with the latter gathering more average viewers. Good thing for them, since the Stars and Stripes took home the win on Sunday to end a three-game losing streak.

Speaking of the matches that earned a spot in the podium, the "winner" in this week's ratings was the clash between Liverpool and Southampton, which ended with Liverpool's 3-1 win and with over 500,000 average viewers. The runner-up spot went to Manchester United's win on Sunday, where Erik Ten Hag's men claimed a 2-1 victory away from home, with their efforts catching the attention of over 450,000 average viewers. Last, but not least, Manchester City's loss to Brentford completed the podium with over 360,000 viewers watching the loss for Pep Guardiola's men.

It will be quite interesting to see what goes down next week, with barely no games being played and with the FIFA World Cup about to be held. Meanwhile, we leave you with the top matches that made our ranking.
