The team's exit from the World Cup after three games is bound to bring some big changes within their ranks, and that would include a new tactician.

Germany's early elimination from the 2022 FIFA World Cup has already shaken up the team's foundations, and since Hansi Flick was not able to outperform the team led by Joachim Löw in 2018, his fate will certainly include him leaving the team in the next few weeks.

The first change came earlier this week when the DFB announced Oliver Bierhoff would be leaving as Die Mannschaft's sporting director. The next step would be to remove Flick as head coach, and sources within the German Football Union have named Thomas Tuchel as the natural replacement.

Tuchel, who has been out of a job since the first months of the 2022-23 season, has coached PSG, Borussia Dortmund, and Chelsea, among other teams. The German tactician led the Blues to the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League title one year after reaching the title clash as PSG's boss. His team lost that final against Bayern München, who had Flick as coach.

While there must be some negotiations between the German team and Tuchel, it seems like a matter of time for Tuchel to be named as the new coach, since the four-time World Cup champions will want to begin working to redeem themselves in the 2024 UEFA Euro, a tournament they will be hosting from June 14 to July 14, 2024.
