It is pretty clear by now that Karim Benzema's relationship with Didier Deschamps is broken, but we never knew the extent of it all after watching how the footballer has behaved on social media recently.
The player, who recently retired from the French national team, is still following Les Bleus' activity on social media, but he has failed to keep following some of his would-be teammates in the FIFA World Cup.
Out of the 24 players included in the roster, Benzema is currently following only five. Those names include Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelién Tchouameni, both of them his teammates at Real Madrid. The other three names include Kylian Mbappé, his former teammate Raphäel Varane, and Marcus Thuram.
This fact confirms Benzema's poor relationship with the rest of the team, while it also hints that recent reports claiming he was not on the best terms with some of the leaders within the dugout, including Hugo Lloris and Antoine Griezmann, who did not agree with Benzema's return after the Real Madrid ace was involved in a legal issue with another one of his teammates with Les Bleus.
Benzema's decision to leave the team seems final, especially if Didier Deschamps decides to extend his stint as France's boss. Nevertheless, a change of coach could maybe see the striker thinking twice about his decision, especially if that new coach is Zinedine Zidane.
