Tottenham Hotspur will aim to bounce back to winning ways when they travel to Palace for Wednesday's Premier League clash.

Crystal Palace will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Selhurst Park for another cracking North London derby on Wednesday night. Both clubs will be eager to secure the maximum three points after experiencing contrasting fortunes in their previous match-ups after the Premier League returned from the World Cup break.

The hosts will fancy their chances against their crosstown rivals as they will go into Wednesday night's game on the back of an important 2-0 win over Bournemouth. Goals by Jordan Ayew and Eberechi Eze were enough to inspire the Eagles to a vital win ahead of the New Year. Earlier, a disappointing 3-0 defeat to Fulham denied Patrick Viera's charges the opportunity to secure four successive home wins in an encounter which ended with the Selhurst Park outfit having two outfield players sent off.

Palace are currently 11th on the league log and a win over Tottenham Hotspur will put them level on points with 10th placed Chelsea. Needless to say, the Eagles will be required to make history to pull this off as it will be the first time ever that they have managed consecutive home wins against Spurs.

For the visitors, the stakes are incredibly high with their chance to secure Champions League football gradually slipping away. Following a strong start to the season, Antonio Conte's men have hit a rough patch and have resultantly dropped out of the top-four. The last time out, the Lillywhites were stunned by Aston Villa, falling to a disappointing 2-0 defeat ahead of the New Year.

So far, they have managed just two wins from their last seven Premier League contests and have conceded at least two goals in each of their last seven top-flight games. With expectations evidently higher, head coach Antonio Conte has bemoaned the implications of his side's non-performance and fears that the objective to secure Champions League football might be a far cry. Against this backdrop, Spurs will be eager to turn things around as soon as possible in order to stay on course.
