The Frenchman might have signed a new PSG deal last summer but Los Blancos see another opportunity to bring the FIFA World Cup winner to the Bernabeu.

Kylian Mbappe might have snubbed a free transfer to Real Madrid in favor of a new PSG deal last summer but the Frenchman remains an obsession for the Spanish giants.

In fact, this feeling is said to be mutual as the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner still dreams of playing at Santiago Bernabeu, and according to one report, Los Blancos are ready to offer one of their best players as part of a deal for the Parc des Princes sensation.

According to Fichajes, that man is none other than Vinicius Junior, the Brazilian winger who has established himself as one of the best young attackers in world football. Since the arrival of Carlo Ancelotti, the Selecao ace has gone from strength to strength and has established a brilliant partnership with Karim Benzema, with the pair leading the club to the UEFA Champions League and La Liga double last season.

However, the former Flamengo talent predominantly plays on the left, which is Mbappe's preferred position. This means that the arrival of Kylian could lead to complications as neither would be happy sharing playing time.

The Frenchman reportedly signed a two-year deal last summer with the option of an additional year. However, that option rests in his hands, not the club, meaning he could be entering the final year of his PSG contract this summer.

The same is true for Vinicius Jr. at Real Madrid, with the Brazilian's current deal expiring in 2024. While an extension looks likelier in this scenario, the player is yet to put pen to paper on a new deal, and as a result, Fichajes speculate that this could open the door to a player swap.

Real Madrid will probably have to add money on top of that as Mbappe is a lot more valuable than the South American. Additionally, PSG are said to be an admirer of the aforementioned Brazilian and could be interested in such an arrangement.

Los Merengues remain in touch with Kylian and his camp. While Ancelotti has requested a striker to ease the burden on Karim Benzema, who is now 35 years old, Florentino Perez has his eyes set on the Ligue 1 superstar.
