The Stars and Stripes finish their January training camp with another warmup match, this time against Colombia. Keep track of it with this guide.

The end of a turbulent month for the USMNT has come to an end, but before each player returns to their team, they will be given the chance to impress their boss in a new friendly match, this time against Colombia at Dignity Health Sports Park in California.

The Stars and Stripes did not go off to a good start under interim coach Anthony Hudson by losing their previous game against an equally unexperienced Serbian side. Now, it is time for the Yanks to return to winning ways against Colombia, a team that has not played for over two months and who are far from presenting their best possible squad.

Colombia will also start a new era following the disappointing run that ended with their absence in the FIFA World Cup. Coach Nestor Lorenzo will pick up the pieces torn apart by coach Reinaldo Rueda, and his main goal will be to find new blood for his team, as the golden generation of David Ospina, Radamel Falcao García, or James Rodríguez are closing in on their final international games.

For this game, the North American side will try to rely on some of their experienced footballers, such as Walker Zimmerman or Aaron Long. Added to those footballer, Brandon Vazquez will want to extend his goalscoring streak with the USMNT, following his goal against Serbia in Wednesday's friendly. Out of the original squad, the Yanks will not have Alejandro Zendejas around, as he was only loaned by his team to play in their midweek match.

On the other side of the pitch, coach Nestor Lorenzo was not able to call up his best men since this is not played during an international break. Hence, the most experienced player for the Colombians will be Boca Juniors' Frank Fabra, who has played over 20 games for Los Cafeteros. Other players to keep an eye on will include goalkeeper Alvaro Montero, striker Diego Valoyes, and Cucho Hernández, who plays in the MLS for the Columbus Crew.

This will be the 22nd match between the USMNT and Colombia. The South American side has a commanding lead over the United States, with 14 out of those 21 games ending in wins for them. The other matches have concluded in four draws and with only three wins for the Stars and Stripes.
