The Costa Rican goalkeeper was desperate to leave PSG for more playing time, which he will certainly find with his new club.

The end of the winter transfer window has carried quite a few marquee names to Premier League clubs, and that will be the case of the three-time UEFA Champions League winner with Real Madrid, Keylor Navas.

The Central American goalkeeper, who has frequently been named as the best-ever from the CONCACAF region, will be joining Nottingham Forest on a loan deal from PSG. Initial details state that Navas will stay with the Tricky Trees until the end of the season, but a permanent move could be in place after this initial spell.

The club, who also announced the signings of Felipe and Jonjo Shelvey during Deadline Day, made sure to keep their fans glued to their social media for the highly-anticipated announcement of the Costa Rican ace.

Navas barely enjoyed playing time this season for PSG, following Christoph Galtier's decision to give Gianluigi Donnarumma the No.1 spot for Les Parisiens. Now, Navas will be able to start fresh and provide Nottingham with quite a bit of his experience as the team tries to extend their stay in the Premier League.
