PSG's highly-anticipated UEFA Champions League showdown with Bayern Munich is only two weeks away but the French giants have sadly been rocked with a huge injury blow.
Galtier's men, who maintained their five-point lead at the top of Ligue 1 thanks to their 3-1 victory over Montpellier, will welcome the Bundesliga giants to the Parc des Princes on February 14. This will be the first leg of the exciting round of 16 fixture, with the return tie set to be held in early March.
The Paris giants, who lost to the German outfit in the final back in 2020, will look to secure victory over the Bavarians once again, having eliminated them from the quarterfinals a year later. However, Galtier will be without one of his best players.
That man is none other than Kylian Mbappe, the club's top scorer this season with 13 goals. After missing a penalty in the 10th minute of the Stade de la Mosson tie, the 2022 World Cup Golden Boot winner was forced off the pitch with an injury in the 21st minute.
This immediately sparked concern among the PSG fan base, with the supporters fearing for their upcoming tie against Bayern Munich. The club revealed an update the following day, revealing that the player hurt his thigh and ruled him out for three weeks.
This means he will play no part when Sane and Co. arrive in the French capital. This is a tremendous setback for Les Parisiens as the French champions look to finally get their hands on the illustrious UEFA Champions League trophy.

Sergio Ramos also picked up an injury in the midweek fixture and was subbed off but PSG are yet to set a timeline for the Spaniard.
