The Red Devils keep getting positive reactions to the Austrian's signing, this time from one of their top players this season.

There has been a lot of controversy around the signing of Marcel Sabitzer by Manchester United, but there are some within the team that have approved the signing without hesitation.

Speaking in a press conference, midfielder Bruno Fernandes admitted that Sabitzer's signing will benefit the team's chances of success right from the start, especially due to the skills he has shown in the past.

"He can shoot from outside of the box, he can score great goals. He'll give us more options in the midfield while Christian [Eriksen] is injured. He's another one who'll make it difficult for everyone in the team to have a place," Fernandes stated.

The Portuguese ace added that Sabitzer's experience coming from the bench will see him trying even harder to impress his new coach, especially if he wants to earn a regular spot in the team's lineup.

"He knows he has to push himself to the highest level to be playing for us now and everyone that is starting today - for example me, Casemiro and Fred. We know it costs a lot to have a place in the team and we have another one fighting for that position so we have to give our best," the midfielder added.

Sabitzer is expected to make the squad that will face Crystal Palace this Saturday, although it is yet to be seen if he will be used as a starter or coming in from the bench by Erik Ten Hag.
