It has been a miserable 2023 for AC Milan, who have struggled for results since the start of the new year. Stefano Pioli's men have been dumped out of the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, and very well have missed the boat in terms of defending their Scudetto crown after suffering another loss on Sunday, when they were beaten 1-0 by Inter in the Derby della Madonnina.
However, they have been given some good news. As per reports from Italy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is now back in full training. The 41-year-old was involved in partial work last week, but has now been fully integrated in with the squad and is looking likely to be part of the team selected to face Torino on February 10th.
The Swedish striker has been out action since last May after undergoing surgery for a torn ACL. There were natural fears that he would have to hang up his boots, especially given his age, but Ibrahimovic, who turned 41 in October, made it clear that he had no intention of retiring just yet.
Torino notably beat Milan in the Coppa Italia last month, and the Granata, who sit in a very solid seventh spot, are unbeaten in their last three Serie A matches.
Meanwhile, Milan have slid to a very disappointing sixth spot, with three straight losses in the league seeing them a whopping 18 points behind runaway league leaders Napoli.
