The Belgian footballer was key to Manchester City's win against the Gunners, scoring once and handing out an assist during the game.

With the race to win the Premier League title heating up, Kevin De Bruyne enjoyed quite a game against Arsenal earlier today...and he was not shy when it came to celebrating it on social media.

The Belgian footballer opened up the scoring for Manchester City and had a hand in the game's final goal with an assist, and even if he was not looking to make fun of Arsenal fans, he had the last laugh via his Instagram account.

The player mocked the attempts by Arsenal fans to hit him with bottles and plastic cups as he left the pitch by posting two images on his Instagram Stories. One of them had the legend "Beer anyone"? and the other one saw him dodge a plastic cup thrown at him from the stands with the word "Thanks".

The embarrassing moment for Arsenal fans was seen during the game's broadcast. Have a look at it here (Image could be geo-restricted).

De Bruyne will have enough cause for celebration after this win, especially since he found the net against the Gunners for the sixth time in his career, which represents his best tally against a Premier League club.
