Will Cremonese finally catch a break?
Unfotunately for the newly promoted side, it doesn't look like that break is arriving any time soon. On Monday, the struggling Tigri took on Torino as they desperately seek a way to get themselves out of the drop zone.
Yet despite taking a 2-1 lead, any celebrations were quickly in vain as Torino pulled level for the match to finish a two-all draw. The Granata, who sit in a comfortable ninth spot, will certainly be the more pleased with that result, but it simply heaps more pressure on Davide Ballardini's floundering side.
So far, Cremonese have played 23 matches in Italy's top flight, and with a measly nine points, are rooted firmly to the bottom of the table. In addition, they are ten points away from 17th-placed Spezia, and with each negative result, avoiding the drop seems increasingly unlikely.
To make matters worse, and to add insult to injury, Ballardini's men set a rather unpleasant precedent on Monday:

And they could top that bad record next Tuesday if they can't pick up all three points in their next fixture, which will see them take on Jose Mourinho's Roma at home.
