The Red Devils host the Catalan giants for the 2nd leg of the Knockout Round Playoffs and will look to build on their 2-2 draw at Camp Nou.

With Manchester United preparing for their crucial and highly-anticipated UEFA Europa League showdown with Barcelona, manager Erik ten Hag has offered fans a promising update.

Two players who missed the club's recent Premier League clash with Leicester due to injury are back fit and are available for selection. The first is Antony, the club's mega-money signing who has garnered polarizing opinions online.

The Brazilian, who joined from Ajax over the summer, has missed the Red Devils' last three Premier League games and the first leg of the Knockout Round Playoffs due to a leg injury. However, Ten Hag can now call upon the 22-year-old when the Catalan giants visit Old Trafford.

So far, Antony has not enjoyed a stellar campaign, with the Selecao winger scoring five times and assisting one goal since joining Manchester United. Nonetheless, he remains a crucial tactical weapon in Ten Hag's system and could get minutes against Barcelona.

The other player who recovered in time for this tie is Harry Maguire. The Englishman missed out on the 3-0 victory over Leicester on Sunday but should be back on the bench.

The Three Lions center-back has fallen down the pecking order since Ten Hag's arrival, with the Dutchman even preferring Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelof in the center-back role over Maguire. Nonetheless, the 29-year-old has come on in games where Manchester United look to defend their lead and see out a result.

Unfortunately, as revealed by the manager, this tie comes too early for Anthony Martial. However, given the sizzling form of Marcus Rashford and the return of Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils should be just fine without the Frenchman.

The Premier League giants came away from the first-leg encounter with a 2-2 draw, with Rashford's strike and a Jules Kounde own goal securing this result. However, with the away-goal rule being abolished, a goalless or one-all draw will no longer suffice for the home side.

This means the 20-time English champions need to beat Xavi's men at the Theatre of Dreams in order to progress to the round of 16.
