The Red Devils managed a comeback win in Wednesday night's clash with the Hammers at old Trafford.

Manchester United completed yet another sensational comeback in Wednesday night's FA Cup fifth round clash with West Ham. After fighting back from a goal down, United secured a stunning 3-1 win at Old Trafford to book an FA Cup quarter-final tie with Fulham.

With Erik ten Hag making as many as six changes to the starting lineup that he used in the Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle on Sunday, United started the game with a heavily rotated side. However, it was the visitors who put them on the back foot in the early minutes of the second half, with Said Benrahma firing West Ham in front with a powerfully-struck shot into the top corner in the 54th minute.

Needless to say, the Red Devils were not ready to give up just yet. They pressed on and, moments later, thought they had equalised through Casemiro's header - only for it to be ruled out for offside after a VAR check. In the 77th minute, their resillience was rewarded and they managed an equalizer thanks to Nayef Aguerd's own-goal.

With only a few minutes left on the clock, the stage was set for a dramatic finish, and United did not disappoint. Alejandro Garnacho, who eventually won the Man of the Match award, curled in a sensational strike past Alphonse Areola in the 90th minute to put the home side ahead. Substitute Fred then steered in a fantastic third goal in injury-time to fire United into the last eight. The FA Cup draw followed immediately after the conclusion of the game, and Fulham was announced as United's opponents for the quarter-finals.

Meanwhile, cross-city rivals Manchester City will reunite with Vincent Kompany and his Burnley team while Brighton and Sheffield United take on Grimsby Town and Blackburn Rovers respectively.
