Things seemed to be up for grabs for PSG during their second leg clash against Bayern, but a howler by one of their most reliable players turned everything sideways for the Ligue 1 giants.
Just after the 60-minute mark, Marco Verratti was trying to clear a ball away from his box following a throw in, and just when it seemed he was going to accomplish that, a double-team by Leon Goretzka and Thomas Müller ended up with Bayern's players taking the ball away from him and with the ball on the back of Les Parisiens' net.
Despite Verratti's complaints against ref Daniele Orsato, the decision to let the play continue was supported by VAR technology, and Eric Choupo-Moting's goal was conceded to the hosts.

Unfortunately for PSG, both goals against them in this tie came from former PSG players. The first goal in the tie was scored by Kingsley Coman, while this one was also scored by Choupo-Moting, who joined Bayern on a free deal back in 2020.
