Fanatiz to stream Argentina's first friendlies after 2022 WC win

March 21, 2023 By Oscar Rojas
The 2022 FIFA World Cup champions will return to action on the streaming platform, with users in the U.S. and Canada having exclusive coverage of the event.

Football fans in the U.S. and Canada will be treated with the opportunity to watch Argentina, the 2022 World Cup champions, with Lionel Messi and all of his teammates in an exclusive streaming courtesy of Fanatiz.

La Albiceleste will celebrate the title with their supporters in a series of friendlies, the first one against Panama, and the other one against Curacao. Both games will be included in a bundle to use the Fanatiz friendlies website. Additionally, users who pay their respective subscription will be given a seven-day trial to the entire programming of this service.

Coach Lionel Scaloni has called up most of the players that touched the sky with La Albiceleste back in Qatar, led by Lionel Messi and Emiliano "Dibu" Martínez. Other high-profile names on this roster include Enzo Fernández, Rodrigo de Paul, and Ángel di María.

Fanatiz's CEO Matías Rivera shared his delight to have these games available exclusively for their loyal users.

"Fanatiz has been the premier destination for the best South American soccer for more than 5 years now and we're thrilled to keep this commitment stronger than ever by bringing to the US and Canada the unique opportunity to enjoy the first games of the Argentine men's national team since winning the FIFA World Cup, exclusively on Fanatiz," Rivera said.

Argentina's first match of the international break will come on Thursday, when they face Panama at the Monumental in Buenos Aires. On March 28, the world champions will lock horns against Curacao at the Madre de Ciudades Stadium in Santiago del Estero.

Fanatiz is the world's largest sports streaming platform in Spanish. This service has reported subscribers in over 100 countries, giving them the best South American football content both live and on demand. Via a monthly or annual subscription, users from all over the globe can follow the beautiful game on their favorite screens and devices in English, Spanish, Portuguese, or with the stadium-only audio feature.
