The German boss was yet in charge of Bayern's fortunes when reports coming in from England hint he could join a title contender this very season.

Julian Nagelsmann may have been sacked hours ago, but he may not be waiting too long to be back on the sidelines coaching another team.

The 35-year-old boss was just receiving the news of the end of his contract with the Bavarian side when another club came knocking on his door. This club has been searching for a new coach for quite a while, and the German's availability comes in quite handy for this Premier League club.

The team in question is none other than Tottenham Hotspur, who have failed to agree terms to sack Antonio Conte and were waiting to have a suitable replacement on the line before firing the Italian coach. Reports from England confirm that Spurs' execs have already sought Nagelsmann's agents out to meet with him and offer him a chance to coach in the Premier League.

The former RB Leipzig boss has never been in charge of a team away from his home country, but the chance to coach in the Premier League could be too good to turn down. While Tottenham may be forced to part ways with Conte before they can make their move for Nagelsmann, it is safe to say that the German tactician has quickly become a frontrunner for the job, especially after Thomas Tuchel, who was one of Spurs' options to replace Conte, was hired by Bayern to take Nagelsmann's place.

According to Sky Sport Germany, Nagelsmann agreed terms with Bayern to stay on their payroll until the end of his original contract, which came in 2026. Nevertheless, the Bavarian side would only honor that deal until Nagelsmann found a new job. Judging by how things are unfolding, it seems that Bayern will not have to keep their former boss on their payroll for too long.
