With former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel taking over, Bayern have been linked with trying to secure the signatures of several of his former players at Chelsea.

Thomas Tuchel may have just taken over at Bayern Munich following Julian Naglesmann's surprise sacking, but the German tactician is wasting no time in putting together his wish list for this summer's transfer market.

Tuchel, who was unceremoniously sacked by Chelsea despite leading the Blues to their second Champions League title in 2021, is reportedly keen on totally overhauling Bayern's squad once the summer transfer window opens in a few months. Not surprisingly, the former Blues manager has been linked with making a move for several players he managed during his time at Stamford Bridge.

As per reports from England, there are four players on Tuchel's wish-list. The first is shot-stopper Edouard Mendy, who has seen his playing time reduced to basically zero under Graham Potter. The Senegalese international enjoyed a good working relationship with Tuchel, but after his manager's sacking, coupled with a spate of injuries, Mendy has now seen himself relegated to the no. 2 spot behind Kepa Arrizabalaga. Hence, Mendy could be keen on making a move in order to guarantee more first-team football.

The second player linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge is Christian Pulisic. The American international is quite familiar with the Bundesliga, having spent four years with Borussia Dortmund's youth and senior teams before securing a record-breaking move to Chelsea. However, his time in London has not turned out as well as the player had hoped, and he also might be keen on seeking other pastures - especially due to Chelsea's recent splurge on other attackers during the winter transfer window. That being said, with rumors of a "tricky" relationship with Tuchel, it remains to be seen whether the American star would be amenable to linking up with him once again.

Despite being part of Chelsea's set-up since his childhood, Mason Mount has been linked with a move away from Stamford Brige this summer. The English international also appears to have a difficult relationship with Potter and like his teammates Mendy and Pulisic, could relish the opportunity to change venues and try to get his career back on track.

Finally, the fourth player reportedly on Tuchel's radar is Kai Havertz. Despite netting the winning goal for Chelsea during the Champions League and Club World Cup finals, Havertz has continued to divide opinion among Chelsea fans due to his inefficiency and inconsistency in front of goal. While Potter has selected him as the team's primary penalty taker - something that did not impress many Blues supporters - Havertz has been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge for some time and might decide that linking up with his fellow German in his native country may be the right direction.
