Paramount+ brings 2020/21 UEFA Champions League coverage to an end with Saturday's 3 p.m. ET final between Man City and Chelsea

The UEFA Champions League final is upon us! Man City and Chelsea are gearing up for their highly-anticipated showdown, with one of Pep Guardiola or Thomas Tuchel set to get their hands on the coveted prize. These two brilliant tacticians have crossed paths twice this season, with the German emerging triumphant on both occasions, winning 1-0 in their FA Cup semi-final battle and 2-1 in their Premier League run-in at the Etihad Stadium. However, Pep failed to name his strongest XI in both encounters but that will likely change come Saturday's all-important fixture. The Spaniard looks to get his hands on the Ol' Big Ears for the first time since 2011 while the Cityzens look to end their wait for European success. Will Man City emerge victorious or will Chelsea make it three consecutive triumphs over the English champions? Do not miss this showdown.

"Unhappy" PSG boss Pochettino ready for a surprise return to Tottenham this summer

Tottenham remain on the lookout for a new head coach for the upcoming 2021/20 season, having sacked Jose Mourinho just over a month ago, with Ryan Mason being given the role of caretaker until the summer. Several managers have been scouted but not many expected former boss Mauricio Pochettino to be linked with a return this summer.

According to the Sun, however, this is a possibility. The highly-popular Argentine tactician was sacked by the north London giants in November 2019 after a huge drop in form, a move which was welcomed by some but questioned by many as he had led them to a UEFA Champions League final only a few months earlier.

According to the British tabloid, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, who is looking into the possibility of re-signing Pochettino, has admitted to close friends that his decision to sack the current PSG boss was a huge mistake. Furthermore, the report claims that Mauricio is "unhappy" at Paris and would welcome a return to the English capital.

Pochettino, who enjoyed a great relationship with the Tottenham higher-ups and the fans, feels he has unfinished business at Spurs. Having taken the EPL side from pretenders to a top-four club all the while playing attractive football and injecting youth into the team, his return would likely be a welcomed one.

Zidane steps down as Real Madrid boss

Zinedine Zidane has stepped down as Real Madrid manager, the Spanish giants confirmed on Thursday. The French coach who finished the season without winning a trophy for the first time in his career is said to have requested a few days to assess his options and has now finalized his decision to leave. Juventus has been tipped as a potential destination for the 48-year-old, but recent rumors suggest Allegri is headed for a return to Turin to replace the recently-sacked Andrea Pirlo. Antonio Conte, Joachim Low, and Raul are a few of the candidates for the vacant Santiago Bernabeu job.

Ligue 1 winning boss leaves Lille just days after clinching league title

On Sunday, Christophe Galtier's side won their first Ligue 1 title in a decade, thus ending PSG's undisputed reign as the champions of France.

So, it's safe to say the fact that he won't be in charge of Lille once the 2021/2022 Ligue 1 season rolls around has created major shockwaves all around France and European football in general. Despite having one year left on his contract, the 54-year-old, who joined Lille in 2017 after spending eight years at Saint-Etienne, will be moving on to pursue other opportunities.

According to reports, Galtier enjoyed a very close working relationship with former Lille president Gerard Lopez, who left in December as the club were facing financial difficulties. And despite the best efforts of new president Olivier Letang, Galtier has opted not to remain with the newly crowned champions, and so now Les Dogues will have to find a new manager as they aim to successfully defend their Ligue 1 title.

FA Cup winners Leicester City secure record breaking kit sponsorship deal

Fans may have noticed a new logo on Jamie Vardy and his teammates' kits when they took to the pitch against Spurs last weekend. That's because Leicester have a new shirt sponsor: starting from the 2021/2022 season, FBS, a global online trading company, will replace Thai organization King Power.

King Power used its sponsorship to assist in Thailand's fiscal recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic, which hit the nation's various sectors hard - especially tourism. While the new details of the contract with FBS haven't been revealed, sources claim that it's "historic", so it's certain to exceed the $16.9 million (£12 million) per season prior arrangement Leicester City had with King Power.

TRANSFER: Bayern sign England youth international Omar Richards from Reading

Bayern are no strangers to poaching talent from rival teams, as they've done for years. One new defender fans will see when the Bundesliga kicks off in August is none other than Dayot Upamecano, who was signed from RB Leipzig and will feature in the center of defense.

But die Roten aren't only keen on securing players from fellow Bundesliga teams, and certainly will look outside Germany for great options. They've now added young English international Omar Richards to their squad. Richards may not be a household name just yet, but clearly his performances for Championship side Reading have done enough to garner the attention of Bayern's executive board.

Richards, 23, a primarily left-sided defender and who was signed on a free, will join Bayern on a four-year deal lasting until 2025.

Barcelona seal exclusive merchandise deal with Japanese company Rakuten

The Blaugrana and the Japanese conglomerate have decided to extend their partnership, which dates back to 2016. The new arrangement between Rakuten and Barcelona will really excite Japanese fans, as it's set to introduce new merchandise. Supporters will be able to purchase things like stationery, toys, and even food items that are all branded, and in addition, the club noted that it's exploring exciting concepts like collaborating with Japanese artists to further highlight the nation's culture.
