The North American shot-stopper had a massive day for Salernitana, putting Inter's Champions League hopes at risk after this draw.

He has been named as the best signing in Serie A during the past transfer window, and if Salernitana end up saving themselves from relegation, they will have to thank Guillermo Ochoa for his huge contribution.

The Mexican goalkeeper, who recently played his third FIFA World Cup in a row, kept Salernitana alive in their game against Inter with some impressive saves, which also helped him set a new season record in Serie A.

Today, Ochoa saved almost all shots against him, including a header where he had to come from inside the goal to deflect the shot away. His efforts were rewarded at the end of the game, when a goal by Antonio Candreva leveled the score to give Salernitana one more point in their battle to escape relegation.

Ochoa's tally of saves today went up all the way to ten, with nine of those shots on goal coming from inside the box, something that had never been seen in Serie A football before.
