The bianconeri will still have to fight to clear their name in court, with much to be said between both parties prior to the end of the season.

Three months after an Italian court ruled against Juventus due to an alleged financial breach, the bianconeri have been given a major win in their quest to clear their name.

The Italian club saw fifteen points being deducted from the ongoing season, while also watching their entire board being suspended from all football-related activity. Earlier today, the Italian Olympic Committee (CONI) suspended that decision, and restored all points to Juventus, which will add excitement to the end of the 2022-23 Serie A season.

Without those points, Juventus seemed doomed to live without European football next season, but with those 15 points returning to their record, the bianconeri have leapfrogged Roma, Milan, and Inter in the race to finish among the top four in Serie A with eight games to be played.

While this has to be good news for Juventus fans, they really need to wait for further developments, as the investigation regarding their alleged financial misinformation will still carry on, and the Italian Olympic Committee could still revert this decision and end up taking away Juventus' points for good. To make matters worse, the bianconeri could be handed another punishment, which could go from a bigger points deduction, a massive fine, or even being relegated to Serie B.

According to reports coming in from Italy, a final decision on this issue could come on June 30, days before the official start of the 2023-24 season.
