Mauricio Pochettino, who is expected to become the Blues' boss for next season, has shared his views on the future of two footballers.

Chelsea may have not announced Mauricio Pochettino yet as their new coach, but he has already started to act like it around those close to him.

One of those sources has gone on the record with The Sun, revealing what the set-to-be-appointed coach plans to do with both Romelu Lukaku and Joao Felix. According to the publication, Felix was believed to be interested in leaving Chelsea since they will not be playing UEFA Champions League football, but the player told his agents that he is "delighted" to play for the Blues, and that he would have no problem in making his loan deal permanent with the club playing at Stamford Bridge.

If this turns out to be true, then Chelsea will have to negotiate with Atlético to hire Joao Felix for good. The Spanish team was reportedly interested in letting Felix go if any team comes up with $100M for his services, a number the Blues will not be able to spend. Hence, both parties will have to come up with a solution that satisfies both of them and, more importantly, make Joao Felix stay on the best possible terms.

The Sun's report adds that coach Pochettino wants to keep Felix around due to his skills and speed. Furthermore, the Argentine boss will try to build a partnership between the Portuguese ace and none other than Romelu Lukaku, who is set to return to Stamford Bridge after an unsuccessful stint with Inter.

Apparently, Pochettino has always been a fan of Lukaku, and the South American coach believes he could help him find his best form if they work together at Chelsea. Having Joao Felix around would be crucial for his plans, which is why Pochettino is inclined on working with both of them if Chelsea honor the verbal agreement with the Argentine coach.
