Currently boasting a 11 point lead over the chasing pack, Barcelona will look to consolidate their claim to the La Liga title when the Blaugrana welcome Osasuna on Tuesday evening. Xavi's men have not been in the best form lately, with just two wins from their last five matches, but for all intents and purposes, appear to be inching ever so closer towards winning the league title.
The hosts come into this game having cruised to a comfortable 4-0 win over Real Betis last weekend, which was exactly the tonic the Blaugrana needed after their shock 2-1 defeat to Rayo Vallecano in the prior round. At this point, having being dumped out of the Champions League, the Europa League, and the Copa del Rey, winning the league would at least be some consolidation after a rather disappointing 2022/23 campaign.
Fortunately, it looks like Barcelona will be able to take one step closer towards winning La Liga on Tuesday. Not only have the Blaugrana lost just one of their last 13 meetings against Los Rojillos, but Osasuna have won just one of their last nine visits to Camp Nou. Tuesday also appears to be a good day for Barcelona, who have not lost any of their 34 games, and although their opponents have had a decent run this season, that record doesn't look like it will be ending any time soon on May 2nd.
Osasuna, for their part, come into this match having lost 2-0 to Real Sociedad, and presently sit in ninth spot. However, the visiting team still are contention for European football, as they are only five points behind sixth-placed Real Betis with several games remaining, and in addition, do have a shot at silverware as they will be featuring in the Copa del Rey final this Saturday. Yet, given that they will face Real Madrid in that time, it's safe to say that Osasuna will be the heavy underdogs and as of now, will be more focused on trying to pick up a positive result at a ground that has caused them their fair share of problems in the past.
Barcelona: The hosts have recovered most of their injured players, with only Sergio Roberto still on the treatment table.
Osasuna: David Garcia is heavily doubtful for Tuesday's game due to a muscular issue, while Darko Bransanc remains out due to a knee injury.

Real Madrid are currently 11 points behind bitter rivals Barcelona in the La Liga title race, and could be as much as 14 off the pace by the time Los Blancos take on Real Sociedad in a Tuesday evening away fixture. Despite this, Carlo Ancelotti's side are very much in the running for two other titles, including successfully retaining their Champions League crown should they beat Manchester City in the semi-finals, followed by either Inter or AC Milan in this year's final. They come into this match having secured a 4-2 win over Almeira with Karim Benzema netting a hat-trick, which was a much needed respite following their embarrassing 4-2 loss to Girona in their previous tie.
Los Blancos will be involved in the Copa del Rey final this weekend, where they will face Osasuna. As such, Ancelotti will look to effectively manage his squad, especially due to injuries that have affected several key players. Meanwhile, Real Sociedad come into this game in solid form, with their last loss taking place on April 15th. Since then, Imanol Alguacil's men have picked up two wins and a draw to further solidify their grip on fourth place.
Should Sociedad secure a top four berth, it will mark the first appearance in the Champions League in over a decade for the Basque outfit. They will hope their uptick in form could help them cause some problems for a Real Madrid side who have not looked totally steady on their footing, but it will be a tough task given that the hosts haven't beaten Los Blancos in nearly four years.
Real Sociedad: Diego Rico, Sadiq Umar and Martin Merquelanz have all been ruled out of this game.
Real Madrid: Both Vinicius Junior and Eduardo Camavinga are suspended, while Ferland Mendy, David Alaba, and Luka Modric are out injured. Karim Benzema is expected to be given a rest with one eye on the Copa del Rey final this weekend.
