The row between PSG and Lionel Messi has taken a fresh turn this Friday, but despite the player's actions, it seems that the club will remain unmoved in their decision to sanction the player.
The footballer took it to Instagram to share a message aimed at PSG's supporters, in which he apologizes for his actions and explains why he decided to take the trip even if the club scheduled a training session after their loss to Lorient.
In the footage, "La Pulga" revealed that he had postponed the trip twice before he finally took it on Monday, when he was under the understanding that he would have the day off.
Here's the full footage of Messi's apology to his team and his teammates.

"I thought we were going to have a day off after the game as always. I had this trip organized and I couldn't cancel it. I had already canceled it before…".
"I apologize to my teammates and I'm waiting for what the club wants to do with me". pic.twitter.com/GBuarEgwSl
You would expect the club to make a statement on this issue after this apology, but the team's boss, Christoph Galtier, revealed that the club will stick with their decision to hand a two-week suspension to the Argentine ace, and that all matters would be sorted out once he is allowed to return to the team's training sessions.
"Let's see what happens when Leo returns. Obviously we will have conversations with the club, but also with Leo, who is the main responsible,"Galtier added.
If things remain as they stand, Messi will be banned to play against Troyes this weekend and against Ajaccio at Parc des Princes. Only time will tell if Messi will keep on playing for Les Parisiens beyond this month, although sources close to the team suggest that the player is set to leave the Ligue 1 outfit.
